Get ready—Dinner Last Night Episode 01 drops this Sunday—and it’s a real treat!

Hello!
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and resonant responses to last Sunday’s email On Slowing Down (And Singing Out). 🥹
I just returned from a 3-day canoe camping trip in the Adirondacks, with
and another dear friend’s family. It was the balm I needed to sink into summer (though there was no actual sinking of canoes 😅).Our trip was not without it’s moments of challenge or surprise. Life never is.
But we navigated things collectively, and not once did I tire from living close to the earth, with a small supply of necessities. It was a fixture of my life before kids, and though we aim to camp with them as much as possible, it is only just beginning to feel like a relaxing way to be together outside.
Time in nature is always good medicine; the more the better.
Which brings me to an exciting announcement and reminder…
🥳 Dinner Last Night Launches THIS Sunday!!!
Our new podcast, Dinner Last Night, launches this sunday with a VERY special first guest:
.Giulia is a mother and chef who is deeply connected to the land where she lives.
She and her husband are raising their daughter in Giulia’s childhood home, in a small village in Tuscany. Her work as a chef, cookbook author, and culinary instructor is inspired by her passion for the local food of her region.
Eating and cooking locally and seasonally is one of the best ways to live close to the earth!
I truly can’t WAIT for you to hear this episode, and will give you more sneak peeks on Sunday when we release it.
Please help us spread the word by "subscribing” to Dinner Last Night wherever you listen to podcasts.
In the meantime, follow us on Instagram where we’ll be sharing street interviews with strangers—yes, strangers—about what they had for dinner last night.
It took A LOT of courage (and a very red face) to do the first one, which happened to be with fashion celebrity Layana Aguilar—she was so kind and supportive!
Oh, and one last thing! We have a KICK-ASS Dinner Last Night theme song that our dear friend Emerson wrote, and which our podcast editor and #1 fan, Nate Silas Richardson (of REP Studios), produced.
Dim also made a super cute video of the behind-the-scenes experience producing it, including with Emerson’s partner Blaise on vocals, our kids singing the chorus, and Drew Martin from Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad on sax 🤯.
Take a minute to listen to it and get PUMPED UP!!!
Alright my friends.
Sit tight.
Stand by.
We’ve got a treat coming your way!
With love and giddy excitement,
Emma & Dimity 👯♀️
Ok, one more video to pump you up—or embarrass ourselves—or both.
Excited!!
