LET’S CELEBRATE!

Winter may be coming, but there’s a break in the rain, the air smells like dried leaves, and pumpkin beer is on tap. Woooo!

And guess what?

Today marks the 6th monthly meal plan and 28th weekly email since launching TIME FOR DINS last April! That’s 48+ meal plan recipes and 30+ weekly recipes, packed with tips, swaps, add-ons, discounts, and β€œcomponent cooking” suggestions.

I’m so grateful to YOU for keeping me motivated and sharing feedback along the way.

And to my paid subs: I SEE YOU. Your support keeps this whole thing going. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When I launched, I promised to show up EVERY WEEK with juicy, helpful emails, and EVERY MONTH with a beautifully crafted meal plan. The October Meal Plan is no exception…

OCTOBER MEAL PLAN: NOTES

Overview:

  • This month’s plan is designed to mix and match recipes

  • Some recipes are smaller servings (2-4), which you can easily multiply

  • There is an emphasis on simple flavoring and seasoning with fresh or dried herbs, which are incredibly immune-boosting for this time of year.

I’ve included some of my favorite recipes, including:

  • My #1 recipe on my food blogβ€”Crispy Italian Baked Tofuβ€”improved for the plan. (With an option to make plain, crispy tofu for picky palates.)

  • Apple and Olive Oil Cake from Seasonal Family Almanac (currently on sale for $29 on Amazon, and a must-have for holiday recipes, crafts, and DIY gifts).

  • Continuing the theme of food as preventative medicine, I’ve included the easiest β€œmedicinal” seasoning: Herby Salt Sprinkles.

OCTOBER MEAL PLAN: GUEST RECIPE

I’ve been following Laura Artega and her family at Six Hungry Feet, who offer delicious plant-based recipes! I loved her post on Seasonal Ingredients for Fall and their Health Benefits. After reading about the butternut squash haul from their garden, I asked if she had a squash pasta recipe to share for the October Meal Plan.

She did! Here’s a perfect seasonal recipe and a sneak peek of the meal plan. (Note: the Instacart button and links are only activated in the meal plan.)
