Last-Minute, Summer Cookout Recipes 😎
Bok Choy Wedge Salad, Rosemary-Balsamic Grilled Chicken, and Divine Walnut & Fig Brownies
Hello friends!
This email is short and sweet, as most of us are on the cusp of unplugging for the long, holiday weekend (as summer has been begging us to do).
Between high-summer fun, kids, work and unexpected curveballs, I’m only just turning my attention to meals for the coming days...
You too?
Here are a few simple, winning dishes that I’ll be adding to the lineup, perfect for group cook-outs or intimate family dinners:
Rosemary-Balsamic Grilled Chicken: This is a crowd-pleaser that draws on common pantry ingredients. Make extra to stretch for chicken quesadillas, or topping on salads.
Bok Choy Wedge Salad: A sophisticated spin on an iceburg wedge salad with a nutritious, green base.
Divine Fig, Walnut, and Sea Salt Brownies: These brownies are truly to die for and the perfect dessert/snack to keep on hand for long summer days.
July Meal Plan
In case you missed this month’s edition, it’s another excellent source of recipes for 4th of July cookouts and summer dining. (I’ve included a 1-month free trial when you upgrade to paid!)

Wishing you all screen-free, sun-soaked fun this week and weekend, and look forward to diving in with you again next week.
Baci!

Ultimate Summer Cookbook
If you don’t have a copy of Feast By Firelight, I highly recommend getting your hands on a copy now. After I wrote this book in 2016-2017, I barely opened it for years. That happens when you test recipes ad nauseum. But now I’m dipping back in and am pretty proud of the highly simple, flavorful recipes that are perfect for cooking and eating outside (though nearly every recipe is adapted for the home kitchen as well). It’s only $10.99 on Amazon right now!!!
